The Santos Great Bike Ride for Homeless Youth is a fantastic event allowing you, together with family and friends, to experience the spectacular scenery of Perth’s Swan River whilst riding on safe and secure roads free from normal traffic.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday 22 November 2015 and offers three rides for all ages and abilities – 10km Family Ride, the new 29km Port to Perth Ride, 52km Challenge Ride and the 98km Ultimate Ride. Participants will again experience the inner city start at the Hay Street Mall or Beach St (Fremantle) and finishing at Ozone Reserve. The City of Perth Event Village offers post-ride entertainment and catering services for participants and spectators.
The Santos Great Bike Ride for Homeless Youth was established in 2004 and is one of Perth’s most popular community cycling events. The event, initiated by the Rotary Club of Perth aims to raise significant and vital funds for WA charity – St John of God Horizon House.
Our main goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable cycling experience for riders of all abilities. To make this event successful, not only do we need you to participate but we also need you to fundraise. This year we hope to raise $150,000 to support homeless youth. Check out how to become a Santos Great Bike Ride Hero by helping to make a difference in the lives of those who deserve a brighter future.
