Target 10km Family Ride
The Santos Great Bike Ride for Charity is Perth’s premier cycling event, offering participants of all abilities a metro route with some of the most majestic views that Perth has to offer.
The event will be held on Sunday 20th November 2011 and we are encouraging you and your family to get involved in the Target 10km Family Ride. Families can enjoy a great day out cycling; enjoy the brilliant scenery whilst also getting some exercise in!!
The Target 10km Family Ride starts at 8:30am, departing from Langley Park and follows the Santos Great Bike Ride course all the way along the Swan River up to UWA and then returns on the same route back to Langley Park. Once families have made their way back to the main event they can enjoy the post ride festivities and fun activities to be enjoyed in the Event Village.
Family entry includes the entry of two adults and up to three children, with extra adults and children being an additional individual 10km event entry fee per adult/child. The family entry is only available for the Target 10km Family Ride; families wishing to participate in the 53km or 106km rides, must either enter as a team or as individuals.

Fundraising
Take up the challenge of fundraising and support three great charities: Horizon House, Heart Foundation and Hope for Children.
If you choose to fundraise for these charities, you also have the opportunity to ride in the event for free! All you have to do is fundraise $250 or more per person - if you are a family of four your target would be $1000 (4 x $250 = $1000).
