The Rotary Club of Perth with the support of The City of Perth will be conducting the 8th annual Santos Great Bike Ride for Charity on Perth Metropolitan roads on Sunday 20th November 2011. This is a mass participation community bike ride with the intention of raising funds for Hope for Children, Horizon House and The Heart Foundation. The event is also used as an education tool for cyclists and motorists alike, with sections of the course involving shared use of roads, helping to further develop the relationship between all road users.
Some roads will remain open, whilst others will have traffic management in place to ensure the safety of all concerned.
