The Santos Great Bike Ride for Charity follows an anti-clockwise loop of the Swan River from Perth to Fremantle and return, with start and finish points located at Langley Park on the CBD foreshore. Click here for a PDF map.

The Target 10km Family Ride also starts and finishes at Langley Park. The course follows the same route as the 53km ride but turns around on reaching Hackett Drive at UWA to follow the bike path back to Langley Park.

mapThe circuit has been designed for several advantages:

  • A magnificent riverside tour of our beautiful city.
  • Anti clockwise at the river's edge minimising the traffic intersections to be managed.
  • Easy riding by staying at river bank level as much as possible.
  • Ideal start and finish point at Langley Park which allows the support crew to remain with entertainment for the duration of the ride.
  • Close proximity to cycle paths and parking.
  • Intersections will be controlled so cyclists have right of way. Please follow instructions from course marshals.
  • Three aid stations with the opportunity to refill your water bottle will all stock sunscreen and first aid.

All riders need to reach the Kwinana Freeway portion of the course by 10.20am or they will be asked to use the cycle paths. Please make sure you are aware of cut off times that are in place for reaching certain parts of the course. All riders must complete their course by noon as this is when traffic management stops due to restrictions on reopening Riverside Drive.
