The Santos Great Bike Ride for Charity was established in 2004 and immediately established itself as one of Perth’s most popular community participation cycling events.

1212_0058_5157The event is owned by the Rotary Club of Perth to raise significant and vital funds for the Horizon House, Hope for Children and the Heart Foundation – so by fundraising, you will not only be helping one charity, but helping three very important causes make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.

This year's event will be held on Sunday 20th November 2011. All three rides start and finish at Langley Park and participants will experience a visually spectacular and scenic tour of the Perth Swan River whilst taking on the awesome challenge the 106km, 53km or the Target 10km Family Ride!!!

Since this event is really all about riders getting their friends, colleagues and families to donate money to the charities through sponsorship (and enjoying a great ride around the river of course) we thought we would give you the chance to gain free entry through your fundraising efforts!!

When you register, simply choose whether to pay the entry fee or to fundraise. If you intend to fundraise for free entry DO NOT PAY your entry fee (simply log out when you reach the payment screen). Once you reach the minimum fundraising target of $250, send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will remove your entry fee; it’s that easy!!!

To make this event successful, not only do we need you to participate but we also need you to fundraise. Your registration fee only covers the cost of running the event. That’s why we really need you to make a special effort to hit your fundraising target to make this event worthwhile for the three charities involved and those they help.
