The Great Bike Ride Presented by the City of Perth 2008 - Take part in Perth's premier cycling event

Are you up for the challenge, the fitness or the fun? The Great Bike Ride Presented by the City of Perth is Perth’s premier cycling event, offering participants of all abilities a metro route with some of the best views Perth has to offer.

Participants can enter in the 106km (2 laps) timed ride, 53km (1 lap) timed ride, 10km family ride

What it is all about?

The Great Bike Ride Presented by the City of Perth was established in 2004, and has quickly become one of Western Australia’s most iconic mass cycling events. The event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Perth and raises vital funds for the St John of God Foundation Horizon House Project, Hope for Children and the Heart Foundation.

Fundraise for the three Charities and ride in the Great Bike Ride Presented by the City of Perth for FREE!!

This year we will be introducing a new fundraising incentive for the event... All you need to do is reach the minimum fundraising target for your category.

Once you reach this target your registration fee will be waived and you will ride for FREE – how easy is that??!

To make this event successful, not only do we need you to participate but we also need you to fundraise. Your registration fee only covers the cost of running the event. That’s why we really need you to make a special effort to hit your fundraising target to make this event worthwhile for the three charities involved and those they help.
